just look like large rocks on the beach. If the tide is high, they'll be surrounded by the ocean. 3. You'll see the remains of an old logging dock which now exists as a number of naked wooden pillars pointing out towards Myrtle Rocks. 4. Across the water from that flat stretch of ocean-hugging highway, you'll see the light blue roof of our private residence and the office of Oceanside.  5. And last, but not least, you'll see this sign (below) at our driveway.

summer, so you would do well to visit the BC Ferries Website to check the up-to-date listings of traffic and sailing times.

Remember, it takes two ferries to get here from Vancouver—the first from Horseshoe Bay to Langdale and the second from Earl's Cove to Saltery Bay—and one to get here from Vancouver Island at Comox. When you disembark the ferry at Saltery Bay, zero your trip metre, and 24 kilometres later, turn left at our driveway. Now, isn't that a brief set of directions? Well, we'll give you five things to look for before you make that sudden turn. 1. The highway will flatten out and begin to run along the ocean. 2.
