e are always searching for new ways to offer our clients the opportunity to find a complete holiday here on the Sunshine Coast, and in particular, to make our resort replete with things our friends nearby can only dream of.

Guests have told us in the past that a pool would just about round things out, for even though we sit beside the richest ocean in the world, we have to acknowledge that it's not always the warmest. And though crabs and barnacles and stones and other ocean-type things are a magnet to some folks, they are positively repellant to others.

And what is one to do when the weather does not, shall we say, cooperate with your vacation plans? You came all this way to enjoy the water, and you've been greeted with nothing but grey skies. Well, now you can rescue your vacation from a film roll's worth of lacklustre photographs.

In addition to our games room, we are proud to present our 3 foot deep wading pool, heated by solar power (just like the ocean), covered by a roof (unlike the ocean) and filled with imagination.

The area is walled in only on two sides so that we can let the good weather in and keep the bad weather out. We've decorated it with elements of the beach and provided a seating area for parents so you can keep an eye on all the fun and meet with other guests. Large windows (above), between the pool and games room ensure that an airy feeling predominates.

We've gone out of our way to give you access to the water by planting our resort next to the ocean. With the advent of our pool, we give you, our valued guests, a new spin on a waterful vacation. Now you'll never have to sidestep your children's question when they ask you, "Does the place have a pool?" by saying, "When we were young a pool was called the ‘ocean’."
